Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
Need a Police Clearance Certificate in Durban, Umhlanga, Westville or anywhere across the KwaZulu-Natal metro? MGA Experiences manages the process from start to finish: we prepare your application, review every document against South African Police Service (SAPS) requirements, assist with submission, monitor progress and deliver your certificate once it is issued. One visit to a police station for SAPS fingerprints is all that is needed from you; MGA Experiences manages the rest.
Every MGA Experiences application includes three checks before anything is submitted.
Print quality is judged against SAPS standards, and a returned set costs a Durban applicant weeks in the queue plus another round of paperwork. We review your fingerprints against SAPS requirements before submission to reduce the risk of rejection.
Names, identity numbers and supporting documents must agree exactly. A recent marriage, an old green ID book or a passport in a different spelling is often the culprit. We cross-check every document against your identification before your application is lodged.
Durban applicants heading to the Gulf, the UK or Australia usually need an apostille or embassy attestation as well, and the wrong route means starting the legalisation again. We confirm what your destination requires before anything is submitted.
We complete the SAPS forms with you, assemble the supporting documents and prepare the application pack so nothing is missing when it reaches SAPS.
Every document and fingerprint set is reviewed against current SAPS requirements before submission. If something would cause a delay, we resolve it before the application goes in.
We monitor the application through the process and keep you updated at each stage, so the follow-up calls are ours, not yours. We can also arrange collection and delivery of your documents, locally and internationally.
Going abroad? We plan the apostille or embassy attestation into the same job from day one, in the right order, and deliver the finished document.
Not sure which you need? See our guide to apostille versus attestation.
South of the city? See our dedicated page for police clearance in Amanzimtoti and the South Coast. We also assist clients in Pietermaritzburg, Richards Bay and the rest of the province.
Apply on your own at a police station and you join the general SAPS queue, which offers no expedited service to the public. MGA Experiences is known for quick turnaround times through our managed submission channel.
What makes the difference is the channel and the preparation: an application correct at first submission, a single police station visit for fingerprints, and the apostille planned from the start.
Plan for this
If you have a visa appointment, a contract start date or a vessel joining date, tell us the date when you enquire. It changes what we recommend.

Fingerprints, identification details and the legalisation route are all reviewed before anything is submitted.
Application, tracking, apostille and delivery sit with one consultant. You deal with a person, not a queue.
Before you pay, you hear whether your deadline is achievable, and if you do not need us, we say so.

Straight answers
Part of the police clearance process requires you in person. We will tell you exactly what is needed and when, so you make one trip rather than several.
Yes. We assist applicants across the whole eThekwini metro and the North Coast, and we have a separate page for Amanzimtoti and the South Coast.
There is no expiry date printed on it. Most embassies, employers and institutions want one issued within the last six months, though this varies by country and visa type. Confirm the window with whoever is asking for it.
Only the legalisation. Gulf contracts usually need embassy attestation after the certificate is issued, and some employers ask for an apostille. We confirm what yours requires and plan it into the same job. See our guide to attestation for Gulf work contracts.
Yes. South Africans abroad can apply from where they live, and MGA Experiences manages overseas applications as standard. See our page on applying from abroad.
Tell us what the certificate is for and when you need it, and let MGA Experiences handle the paperwork from the first form to the finished certificate. We will come back with a quote and a realistic timeline.
No obligation. We will tell you if you do not need us.
